I'M SO EXCITED

Today is the first Peter Pan performance! I'm really scared of messing up but hopefully with my friends there with me I can calm down by the time I get there. Yesterdays practice went really well but there was a lot of little mistakes (even a small one made by me) that our director pointed out and told us that he didn't want us to seem like a bunch of amateurs on stage. He wanted to make sure that we looked like the professional (some what) theater we are. All the little kids seem to know my name and really like piggy back rides. Even one of my friends,W., who is an older lost boy, has decided that piggy back rides are fun. He even offered to give me one but i denied because I'm like twenty pounds more than him. Yesterday was also kinda disappointing... one of the younger lost boys, who is about seven, had to pretty much wait outside for an hour before someone would come pick him up. It was also freezing outside. I refused to ignore the fact that it was cold so I told the kid to wear my jacket until his parents came to pick him up and to give it back tomorrow. I know the parents may have had a good reason but this happened three days in a row! I guess I can't really judge how other work things out. Also W. and I took pictures of our awesome costumes! I had my friend, A., take a picture of me giving one of the really cute lost boys a piggy back ride. He was wearing a raccoon hat with dirty make up and ripped clothes. I thought all the little kids were just adorable! Right now I'm really hoping I don't mess up on the Indian dance number, we have pretty much no room to dance and the dance is kind of hard to do if you don't have enough room for about ten or fifteen girls. I guess it's too late to fix that now. Maybe now that we are in front of an audience we will do our best.
Thanks for reading about my odd but pretty normal life!
